“We have released six modelling products in the last year with the most recent being Urban Developer beta in February. We are on track for completing a new, integrated water modelling system - eWater Source - and we are pleased to confirm our commitment to maintenance and support beyond CRC funding,” said CEO Professor Gary Jones.
“eWater will remain a non-for-profit organisation, our mission being to support best-practice water modelling that enhances ecologically sustainable water allocation and use in Australia and around the world, “ Prof Jones said.
Prof Jones thanked eWater’s partners, both research and industry, for their collaboration and support in developing, and trialling new products as well as delivering training.
"Through our commercial arm, we are now moving into overseas markets and building revenue from contracts, products and services to continue this work,"
In partnership with JBA consulting in the UK, eWater has delivered a music (stormwater modelling software) public beta and we are pursuing similar opportunities in Malaysia and France. Our products are also being used in China, India, the Middle East and other parts of Europe and Asia.
With the imminent release music version 5, we are building on our widely adopted music product to offer additional modelling and reporting capabilities with improved useability.
Our recent delivery includes:
Urban Developer – new product out soon!
Source Rivers (River Manager) beta – for partners.
Ecological products – Eco Modeller, Concept and eFlow Predictor.
