Opus International Consultants music case study
Eight sites for fast food outlets in Queensland
Opus is engaged in designing stormwater management plans for eight restaurant sites in Queensland for a major fast food chain. Development Applications for the sites are to be submitted to Councils.
The stormwater management plan for one particular site was particularly challenging as the project site was tight and it was difficult to design the stormwater management plan to comply with water quality objectives. “It was a challenge to treat the stormwater and to get rid of the pollutants within the available space” Tony Loveday said.
To solve the problem, music was a good modelling tool to use. “It could analyse how well the bioremediation design worked so as to achieve the particular water quality target council had set.”
