Dr Robert Carr currently manages the international business development for eWater.
He was formerly President of the USA arm of DHI Water and Environment and director Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
Dr Carr has a bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the University of Queensland (1980), a Masters in the physical modelling of energy dissipaters, and a PhD in surface/groundwater modelling from US-based Iowa State University. He is the recipient of several major awards including Iowa State’s Research Excellence prize, and was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 1990 to investigate Drainage and Salinity modelling systems in Europe and Israel.
Dr Carr's fields of special competence include hydraulic investigations and design, hydrologic assessment, flood estimation and contaminant transport investigations. His has extensive experience in managing urban, riverine, estuarine, and groundwater data collection and modelling projects.
He is a member of the Australian Institution of Engineers Australia, CPEng NPER-3 and the Australian Water and Wastewater Association.
